Sealed tenders are invited from experienced, reputed, resourceful and bonafide advertising firms for appointment as sole concessionaire to the company for advertisement right for a period of 3 (Three) years from 1st March 2003 for the following items :

2.Reserved rates has been fixed for 3 years
3. Tenders for all of the above 2(two) types shall have to be offrerd on yearly basis forf 3 years.
4.Tenderers are required to deposit Rs 6 Lakhs(rupeesSix Lakhs) for Tram Cars, Rs 2 Lakhs (Rupees two lakhs) for Tram poles as earnest money in Pay-order or Demand Draft on any Natinalised bank in Kolkata drawn in Favour of "The Calcutta Tramways Co.(1978) Ltd.
5. Tender documents including general terms & conditions will be available from the P & PR section of the company at the above address on production of cash receipt of Rs. 200/- (non-refundable) for each set of tender documents payable in cash to the Chief Accounts Officer-cum-Secretary at Head Office at the above address.Tenderers who desire to get the tender documents by post shall remit Rs. 50/- extra well in advance.However Company will not take responsibility for despatching the tender documents if the bank Draft received late or/if the tender documents sent by post are lost/delayed in postal transit. No claim whatsoever will be entertained by the company therefor. The tenderer should have a credential for at least 60% of estimated value of work in a single contract during last 3 years.

6.The tenders in duplicate alongwith earnest money in the form of Band Draft/Pay Order, Credentials, Certified Copies of valid IT/PT and Sales Tax Clearance Certificate addressed to the Chairman-cum-Managing Director,The Calcutta Tramways Co. (1978) Ltd. are to be deposited in the Tender Box located in the 2nd floor of the CTC's Head Office by 13.00 hours on 28th January, 2003. Tenders will be opened at 14.00 hrs. on the same day at the Head Office in presence of the authorised representatives of the tenderer.

7.The company reserves the right to accept or reject all or any tender fully or partly or to divide the rights of advertisement on Tram Cars and Tram Poles between 2(two) tenderers separately/exclusively without assigning any reason whatsoever.
